6) Certifications & Acknowledgements

I certify the proposed substitution is compatible with related materials/systems and appropriate for the intended application.
I certify I have provided sufficient information to evaluate compliance with the Contract Documents (performance/quality/warranty intent).
I acknowledge acceptance of a substitution does not modify other Contract Document requirements unless specifically stated in writing.
If accepted, I will coordinate and provide all modifications needed to fully integrate the substitution (including related work by others).
If accepted, I acknowledge responsibility for redesign/review costs and special inspections caused by the substitution if required by the project procedures.
Follow the project’s Substitution Procedures (often Section 01 25 00) regarding timing, routing, and required documentation.
